Thanks everyone in Australia

I haven’t written for a long while but life has been pretty busy. We have been slogging our way pruning our new vineyards and have also pruned another five hectares for another grower. Just when I thought it was over Isla has agreed to tie down canes on some more vineyards. The pruning season never ends!
The family has also just been to Australia on a long overdue visit. We had the honour to be able to show our wines at one of the best wine shows that I have ever been involved with around the world. Rootstock was a show highlighting organic and natural wines. Market food, great music, craft beer and some fantastic wine. This year the venue was Carriageworks in Redfern. The place was packed and well done to all the organisers and volunteers. Also a big thanks to Brendan Hilferty for manning our stall while I was off socialising. He is doing a great job selling our wine in Australia through The Wine Point.

New York, New York

As I was writing the truck turned up to take a couple of pallets of wine to New York. All going well the wines will arrive in time for my visit at the end of March. I will have three days on the ground to visit our clients in New York and New Jersey. Really looking forward to catching up with our distributors at Angels’ Share Wines. Particularly looking forward to visiting Lafayette Grand Café where our wines are listed.

And back in Europe….

This year we will be attending our first O’Briens Wine fair. The Spring wine fair will be held in Dublin on the 9th-10th of May. Isla will be showing our wines and all are welcome. We now have more than one wine listed there and it should be a great opportunity for Isla to catch up with some old friends.
